Hey folks, I work on a lot of guitars everyday, in the last month I worked on a Palen 7 string archtop and today worked on a Kinnaird West Coast #45 the cool one on the website with the great inlay. Both of these luthiers are obvious masters of their craft and it was such a pleasure to see these 2 instruments in my shop. When I compare them to the mainstream stuff I see daily, they really stand out so far above even the "top shelf" stuff I work on. Great to see two of my forum mates work and they have my deepest respect. Evan |

Hey Thanks Evan I suppose the heel bolt was loose and that you had success drawing it back up tight. |

No problem, I think its more my location. I was chatting with the guys from Dan Erlewine's shop at the ASIA Symposium. They were freaking out on the variety of instruments I see, from totally insane Russian electrics from the 60's to top shelf independent stuff like yours and Ribbecke's etc... Never a dull moment in the Big Apple. Keep up the outstanding work and all my repair jobs will be so simple. Evan |
